Community Guidelines

Treat other attendees, hosts, and staff with respect at all times.

We do not tolerate:

• Harassment
• Discrimination
• Unwanted physical contact
• Offensive or aggressive behaviour
• Intimidation or bullying

If someone makes you uncomfortable, you should feel able to leave the interaction at any time.

2. Real People Only

PlusOne is for genuine connections.

You must:

• Use accurate personal information
• Upload real photos of yourself
• Not impersonate anyone
• Not attend events under a false identity

We reserve the right to remove accounts that appear fake or misleading.

3. Behaviour at Events

Each event is hosted independently or by PlusOne, and we want to ensure all events maintain a safe and respectful environment for all.

You must not:

• Attend under the influence of drugs
• Become excessively intoxicated
• Disrupt the event or other guests
• Ignore instructions from the host or venue staff

Hosts may refuse entry or remove guests if behaviour is inappropriate.

4. Consent & Boundaries

Not everyone attends events for the same reasons.

Always:

• Respect personal boundaries
• Accept rejection gracefully
• Avoid pressuring anyone for contact details or social media
• Never touch someone without consent

No means no, and silence does not mean yes.

5. Safety First

PlusOne hosts events through independent organisers and venues.

We encourage all attendees to:

• Meet in public settings
• Arrange your own transport safely
• Drink responsibly
• Trust your instincts

If you ever feel unsafe, speak to the host or venue staff.

6. Hosts & Organisers

Hosts using PlusOne must:

• Provide accurate event descriptions
• Maintain a safe environment
• Follow venue rules and local laws
• Treat attendees fairly and respectfully

PlusOne may remove events or suspend hosts who do not meet our standards.

7. Reporting Issues

If something doesn't feel right, we want to know.

You can report:

• Inappropriate behaviour
• Fake profiles
• Unsafe events
• Harassment
• Policy violations

8. Enforcement

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these guidelines.

This may include:

• Removing access to events
• Cancelling tickets without refund
• Blocking accounts
• Removing hosts from the platform
